Alternate
History on the Web

There is a relatively new Alternate Biology site at http://members.tripod.com/Agrarianist/index.htm for those of you that share that interest.
- If you planned on putting a web site at www.alternate-history.com,
you’re too late, unless your name is Steven W. Tally.
He’s the author of a book on American Vice Presidents called Bland
Ambition. He is also the author of a book called Almost America: From the Colonists to
Clinton, A What-if History of the
United States, which is due out in December of this year from
Harper/Collins.
- According to Del Ray, October is alternate history month.
We should probably do something special at POD for that.
See http://www.thehistorynet.com/advertise/delrey/del_rey.htm
- The Alternate History Web Ring is up to 16 member sites now.
Some of them are well worth visiting: http://www.webring.org/cgi-bin/webring?ring=althistory&list
- Of course the History Web Ring has over a thousand sites, many of which
are of interest: http://nav.webring.org/cgi-bin/navcgi?ring=history;list
- The Aviation History Web Ring has over 180 member sites.
For a listing go to: http://nav.webring.org/cgi-bin/navcgi?ring=avihistory;list
-
The Industrial Archaeology and History Web Ring has 50+ members sites.

If you enjoyed this listing, or if you know of something
you think I should add to it it, please let me know. I always read and enjoy any feedback I can get.
Note: I'm still planning to start an 'e-mail to
the editor' section soon if I get enough responses. Please feel free to e-mail me.
I'll only use your comments in the 'e-mail' section if you specify that it is
okay to do so.
